This magnificent axe is totally hand crafted. This is a genuine work of art. The axe is constructed of Damascus steel, which is a high-quality steel. Because the amazing blade has a razor sharp edge, it can be used in a variety of ways. An antique and a work of art. We choose 15n20 to pair with 1095 for our Damascus steel, it makes up the bright layers in the pattern, as the nickel in the steel resists the ferric-chloride we use to etch blades. This blade sets between 55 -58 (HRC) on the Rockwell scale.
